🎹 Pre-Notes Class Welcomes Fall with Music, Movement & Magic! 

As the vibrant energy of summer fades into the cozy rhythms of fall, our Prenotes Class is embracing the new season with fresh lessons, joyful melodies, and imaginative musical adventures. 

🌞 Reflecting on a Musical Summer 

Over the past few months, our young musicians explored foundational music concepts through playful, hands-on experiences. The Summer Walk Lesson Series was a hit, filled with laughter, learning, and creativity.  

Highlights included: 

• Singing and moving to “Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun” 
• Learning Finger Numbers with our “How Many Sunflowers” poster activity 
• Discovering Piano Geography through interactive games 
• Taking a Summer Walk to explore Tempo and Rhythm 
• Enjoying a Teddy Bear Picnic with butterfly dances and music like Ella Fitzgerald’s Summertime 
• And most importantly, learning to sing and play our first song — the “Hello Song”! 

Each week brought new progress, whether it was recognizing notes, mastering finger numbers, or simply sharing a musical moment with a friend. The children’s curiosity and enthusiasm have truly been the heartbeat of our class.

🍂 Looking Ahead to Fall 

This week, we kicked off our Autumn/Fall Lesson Series, which includes 9 themed lessons designed to deepen musical understanding in a fun and age-appropriate way. This season’s focus includes: 

• Simple Music Theory Concepts for Early Learners 
• Exploring themes like Autumn Walks, Fruits & Seeds, and Harvest 
• Reinforcing techniques such as Finger Numbers, Finger Techniques, and Music Alphabet mastery 
• Engaging seasonal games and activities that make learning stick!
