At Jay’s Music Academy, we believe meaningful music education takes more than a single lesson. That’s why families begin with our thoughtfully designed 4-Week Onboarding Experience, giving your child time to settle in, build consistency, and experience real musical growth from the start.

Choosing a music academy is a personal decision, and we understand that some families prefer to see the space before getting started.
While most families begin by reserving a weekly lesson time, you are welcome to schedule a complimentary Studio Visit if it would help you feel more comfortable.:

What Is the 4-Week Onboarding Experience?
Our 4-Week Onboarding Experience gives each new student the time and support needed to adjust to lessons and begin building a strong musical foundation.
Rather than relying on a single introductory lesson, we use four consecutive weeks to help students become comfortable, establish a routine, connect with their instructor, and begin developing confidence through consistent instruction.
During the trial, your child will:
- Learn in a warm, encouraging classroom environment
- Build consistency through weekly instruction
- Begin developing foundational musical skills
- Connect with their teacher and classmates
- Explore their musical strengths, interests, and goals
Parents gain clarity on:
- Their child’s learning style and readiness

- The most appropriate support for continued progress

How the 4-Week Onboarding Process Works
Step 1: Reserve a Weekly Lesson Time
We begin by learning about your child and identifying the lesson or program that best supports their age, interests, goals, and availability.
Once the appropriate placement is identified, we reserve a recurring weekly lesson time.
Step 2: Enroll in the 4-Week Onboarding Experience
Complete your child’s registration and reserve their place in the recommended lesson or group program.
At enrollment, families pay:
- ✅ 4-Week Onboarding Music Lesson Tuition
Covers all four instructional weeks, including the first lesson experience. - ✅ $49.99 Onboarding Registration Fee Deposit
Applied toward the full $99.99 annual registration fee
The registration fee supports:
- Enrollment and student setup
- Instructor scheduling
- Materials and workbook preparation
- Parent & student portal access
- Reserving a limited group or lesson seat
Registration fees are administrative and do not pay for lessons.
Step 3: Begin the First Lesson Experience
The onboarding experience begins with a real instructional lesson delivered in a welcoming and supportive format.
The instructor begins learning about your child’s interests, comfort level, learning style, and musical goals while helping them become familiar with the lesson routine.
Step 4: Continue Building Through Weeks
During the remaining onboarding weeks, your child continues attending their reserved weekly lesson time.
These lessons help build consistency, strengthen the student-teacher relationship, and provide a clearer understanding of the support needed for long-term musical growth.
After the 4-Week Onboarding Experience
As your child completes the onboarding experience, we will confirm their continued weekly lesson schedule and recommend the best next steps for maintaining their progress.
The remaining $49.99 annual registration fee balance is collected when the student continues beyond the onboarding period.
Ongoing lesson tuition will then follow the family’s confirmed billing schedule.
